The SimPhony prepaid SIM Card
This is one of our most significant differentiators in that it provides the consumer with important features not available from other payphones. The SimPhony prepaid SIM card is equivalent in size to a conventional credit card. It encapsulates a small microprocessor (the size of a postage stamp), memory and the ability to interact with the telephone data/terminal and network. It has 64KB of memory per chip providing room for storing personal phone numbers, text messages, position data relating to a GPS receiver and more. The embedded circuitry on the SimPhony SIM card stores identification about the services that are available to the local subscriber.
